The sample consisted of 226 nursing students from years 1 - 4, with the study conducted between June and September 2024. The research tool was a questionnaire divided into 4 parts: general information, academic burnout measurement scale, resilience measurement scale, and multidimensional social support perception scale. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The findings revealed that: 1. The academic burnout level of nursing students from years 1 - 4 was low.

2. Resilience was negatively correlated with academic burnout at a moderate level, which was statistically significant (r= - .54; p < .01). Social support was negatively correlated with academic burnout at a moderate level, which was statistically significant (r= - .54; p < .01). Therefore, enhancing resilience abilities and promoting social support can reduce academic burnout among nursing students.
2025-11-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Praboromarajchanok Institutehttps://he03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PBRI/article/view/4728Relationship Between Self - Efficacy and Self - Care Behaviors Of Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Attending the Diabetes Clinic at Nakhon Pathom Hospital, Mueang Nakhon Pathhom District, Nakhon Pathom Province2025-11-02T21:08:16+07:00Punnathat Puttharaksapunnathat0099@gmail.comThanarach NgobphoeThanatach.ngobphoe@gmail.com
This descriptive study aimed to examine the relationship between self-efficacy perception and self-care behaviors among patients with type 2 diabetes who attended the Diabetes Clinic at Nakhon Pathom Hospital, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Pathom Province. A total of 120 patients participated. Data were collected using two questionnaires: a self-efficacy perception questionnaire and a self-care behavior questionnaire. Both instruments were reviewed by three experts; item-objective congruence (IOC) values ranged from 0.67 to 1.00. Reliability coefficients (Cronbach’s alpha) were 0.80 and 0.79, respectively. Data were analyzed using percentages, means, standard deviations, and the chi-square test. The results indicated that:

Self-efficacy perception was significantly associated with self-care behaviors among patients with type 2 diabetes attending the clinic, at the 0.05 significance level, both for the overall scores and for the individual domains.

It is recommended that staff and relevant agencies emphasize proper diabetes self-management by organizing health-education training programs to improve the skills of healthcare personnel in communicating health information effectively and to raise awareness about the importance of diabetes management.
2025-11-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Praboromarajchanok Institutehttps://he03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PBRI/article/view/3249Factors Associated with Tooth Loss among the Elderly at Ban Kho Health Promoting Hospital, Phon Sawan District, Nakhon Phanom Province2024-09-14T09:26:32+07:00Noppone Bunnarungsritphajan@gmail.comNattapone Palajantphajan@gmail.comMatawee Sriyaitphajan@gmail.comTEERASAK PHAJANtphajan@gmail.com
This cross-sectional descriptive study aimed to determine the prevalence of tooth loss and factors associated with tooth loss among the elderly in the catchment area of Ban Kho Health Promoting Hospital, Phon Sawan District, Nakhon Phanom Province. Data were collected using validated questionnaires from 225 participants selected through stratified random sampling. Research instruments were validated for content validity (IOC = 0.66 - 1.00) and reliability (Cronbach's alpha = 0.72 - 0.89). Descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, maximum, and minimum values, were used for data analysis. Inferential statistics, including Chi-square test, Fisher's exact test for testing associated factors, and 95% Confidence Interval (95% CI) were employed, with a significance level set at 0.05. Results showed that:
1. The prevalence of tooth loss among the elderly (defined as having fewer than 20 remaining teeth) was 35.10% (95% CI = 33.00 - 45.00).
2. Factors significantly associated with tooth loss among the elderly were knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding oral health care (p-value < 0.001).
In conclusion, relevant agencies should prioritize enhancing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding oral health care among the elderly to prevent oral diseases and reduce tooth loss.
2025-11-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Praboromarajchanok Institutehttps://he03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PBRI/article/view/3806Performance Evaluation of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Prevention and Control in Mueang Chachoengsao District, Chachoengsao Province2025-11-02T21:18:03+07:00Kwanthida Nimnualkwanthida0909@gmail.comKiraphol KaladeeKwanthida0909@gmail.com
This study aimed to evaluate the performance of the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) Prevention and Control Program in Mueang Chachoengsao district, Chachoengsao province, by applying the Stake’s Evaluation Model (Stake, 1980), and using the evaluative research approach. The study was based on two groups of participants: Group 1, 41 officials responsible for DHF prevention and control in the district and Group 2, 206 community leaders who worked and lived in the district, selected using the multistage sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire that applied the Stake assessment model, the disease prevention motivation theory, and the social support theory in the form of documents and Google forms. Data were collected using two set of questionnaires that had been checked for content validity and tested for reliability of the instrument. The Cronbach's alpha coefficients of the first questionnaire were 0.85 and 0.88, while the coefficients of the second questionnaire were 0.87, 0.86, 0.99, and 0.80. Data were analyzed for numbers, percentages, and estimates based on the 95% confidence interval of percentages. The results showed that:

1. regarding the performance in DHF prevention and control of responsible officials, most of them had problems and obstacles in improving the environment for destroying the breeding grounds of Aedes mosquitoes (80.5%) and in surveying the Aedes larval indices (73.2%).

2. As for community leaders’ performance, their involvement if the program was at a high level.

3. Based on the 2023 standard criteria for DHF prevention and control, the district had 156 DHF cases, representing an illness rate of 95.42 per 100,000 population, which was higher than the threshold set by the Ministry of Public Health, and had a death rate of 0, which was lower than the criterion set by the ministry; and the mosquito larval indices (HI, BI, CI) were in the low and medium risk.

Based on the research findings, support should be increased in terms of resources and adequate personnel, training should be provided to enhance knowledge and skills in surveying and destroying Aedes mosquito breeding sites, and cooperation between officials and communities should be promoted to enhance the effectiveness of dengue prevention and control operations.
2025-11-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Praboromarajchanok Institutehttps://he03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PBRI/article/view/4074The Effectiveness of Oroxylum indicum Topical Solution and Calamine Lotion for Treatment of Itchy Skin2025-11-21T09:25:35+07:00Wilasinee Hongsanunpomiko2009@hotmail.com
Oroxylum indicum bark contains bioactive flavonoids, including oroxylin A and baicalein, with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antimicrobial, and antiallergic properties. This study is a Single-Blinded Randomized Controlled Trial. In this trial, we aim to evaluate the effectiveness of Oroxylum indicum topical solution in reducing itchiness, compared with calamine lotion. Eighty participants were randomly assigned to two groups (n = 40 each): one received the Oroxylum indicum topical solution, and the other received calamine lotion. Baseline itchiness severity was assessed using a standardized itchiness scale. An irritation test was conducted, followed by
a 30-minute observation period. Participants applied their assigned treatment thrice daily for seven days. itchiness severity was reassessed at 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 3 days, and 7 days post-application. Mean itchiness scores between groups were statistically analyzed at each time point. Results indicated that the Oroxylum indicum topical solution significantly reduced itchiness compared to calamine lotion at 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 1 day post-application (p < 0.05). However, no significant difference was observed on days 3 and 7. In conclusion, the Oroxylum indicum topical solution demonstrated superior short-term efficacy in alleviating itchiness compared to calamine lotion in one day. And the mean satisfaction scores of the two groups were not significantly different.
2025-11-28T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Praboromarajchanok Institute
