As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

1. Research Article is an article that reports the results of systematic study, research, or development, which consists of: title, abstract in Thai and English, keywords, introduction, objectives, participant protection/ethics approval (for human research, specify the human research ethics approval certificate number), methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, and references.
2. Academic Article is an article written about interesting issues or phenomena that occur, aimed at analyzing, critiquing existing concepts or perspectives, and/or presenting new ideas. Academic articles primarily focus on providing knowledge to readers and should include: abstract, introduction, objectives, content, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, recommendations for implementation, and references.

3. Review Article plays an important role in collecting and synthesizing scattered research into a comprehensive overview, helping readers save time in understanding the progress of knowledge in various fields, while identifying knowledge gaps and pointing out future research directions. It evaluates the quality of evidence to support decision-making in practice and policy formulation, and serves as an important tool for continuous education of professionals to keep up with advances in their fields. It consists of: title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, review results, discussion, conclusions, and references.

4. Case Study Article that has passed human research ethics approval, consisting of: abstract in English and Thai, keywords, introduction, objectives, methodology, case study results (medical history, physical examination results, physician's diagnosis, disease progression and medical treatment, nursing diagnosis and care plan), discharge planning, discussion and recommendations, conclusions, acknowledgments, and references.
