About the Journal
General Guidelines
The Phetchabun Medical Journal is a publication created to disseminate academic articles in the fields of medicine and public health. It is published triannually, with issues released every four months: Issue 1 in January-April, Issue 2 in May-August, and Issue 3 in September-December. The following general guidelines are provided for authors wishing to submit academic articles for publication in the Phetchabun Medical Journal:
- The submitted article must not have been previously published or currently under consideration for publication in any other journal, both domestically and internationally.
- The content of the article, including text, images, and all other materials, must be the original work of the author. If referencing the work of others, proper ethical research conduct must be followed, ensuring no infringement of copyrights.
- The editorial board will appoint two-three expert reviewers to evaluate the manuscript's content and assess the article. The editorial board will compile the feedback and suggestions and communicate the review results to the author for manuscript revision to ensure academic integrity and completeness for publication.
Evaluation and Publication Process
- Upon receiving the manuscript, the editor will acknowledge receipt and forward the manuscript to three expert reviewers for a double blind peer review process.
- After receiving the reviewers' evaluations, the editor will communicate the review results and return the manuscript to the author if revisions are needed.
- The decision to accept the article for publication lies with the editorial board. Authors of accepted articles will be notified officially through an official letter.
- If an article is not accepted for publication, the editor will inform the author without returning the original manuscript.
Currently, Phetchabun Medical Journal does not charge any publication fees.
