Author Guidelines for Submitting Research Articles and Academic Articles
- General Information of the Journal
The Journal of Faculty of Physical Education (J Faculty Phys Educ) is a biannual academic journal, published twice a year:
- Issue 1 (January – June)
- Issue 2 (July – December)
The journal aims to disseminate research articles and academic papers in the field of health sciences, including physical education, health education, recreation, sports science, and public health.
- Types of Articles Accepted
The journal accepts Research Articles and Review Articles in the fields of physical education, health education, recreation, sports science, and public health. Submitted manuscripts must be original, academically valuable, and not previously published or under consideration by any other journal.
- Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo evaluation by three qualified peer reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s field. The journal employs a double-blind review process to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic rigor.
A manuscript will be considered for publication when:
- At least two reviewers provide favorable recommendations, and
- The authors have revised the manuscript thoroughly according to the reviewers’ comments.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to suspend or withdraw publication if the authors fail to make necessary revisions or violate publication ethics and academic standards.
- Publication Ethics & Misconduct
If an author is found to have committed unethical practices such as:
- Plagiarism
- Fabrication of data
- Falsification of findings
- Duplicate submission or redundant publication
- Misrepresentation of authorship
The journal will conduct a retraction of the article and prohibit future submissions from the author for five years.
- Withdrawal Policy
Authors wishing to withdraw their manuscript must submit a formal written request to the Editorial Board before publication. Failure to notify the journal may result in the author being prohibited from submitting manuscripts for three years.
- Manuscript Format
Manuscripts must follow these formatting requirements:
- A4 paper size, not exceeding 12 pages (excluding appendices)
- Font: Browallia New
- Main text: 14 pt
- Title: 16 pt
- Margins:
- Top / Bottom / Right = 1 inch
- Left = 1.2 inches
- Submission must be made through the journal’s electronic submission system:

- Manuscript Components
1. Research Articles
A research article must include:
- Title (Thai and English)
- Authors’ full names and affiliations (Thai and English)
- Corresponding email
- Abstract (Thai and English), not exceeding 250 words
- Keywords (3–5 words)
- Main content consisting of:
- Introduction
- Objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Suggestions
- Acknowledgements
- References
2. Review Articles
A review article must include:
- Title (Thai and English)
- Authors’ names and affiliations
- Abstract and keywords (Thai and English)
- Contents relevant to the topic
- Conclusions
- Suggestions
- Acknowledgements
- References
- Reference Style
The journal requires all references to follow the APA 7th Edition format.
- Publication Fees
The Journal of Faculty of Physical Education has no policy to charge article page fees (Article Page Charges) to authors.
- Required Documents for Submission
Authors must provide the following documents:
- Manuscript file prepared according to the journal template
- Plagiarism Check Report
- Copyright Policy
All published articles become the copyright of the Journal of Faculty of Physical Education.
- Language Responsibility
Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Thai and English language usage in their manuscripts before submission and prior to final publication.
- Reference Quality
Authors should use up-to-date, credible, and academically reliable references to enhance the scholarly value of the manuscript.
- Conditions for Consideration
The Journal of Faculty of Physical Education reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with the above guidelines or do not meet the academic standards required by the journal.
