The navigation center service system is a system to support patients in accessing quick service systems and encourage patients to manage their own health appropriate to their health status. This research was quasi-experimental research two groups pretest and posttest design. The objective was to compare the effects of using the navigation center service system on blood pressure control, health behavior score and travel expenses in hypertensive patients. The sample was 120 patients with high blood pressure who received treatment at the family doctor's clinic and the hypertension clinic at Phetchabun hospital. Subjects were divided into 2 groups: the experimental group received the navigation center service system and the control group received regular services, 60 subjects in each group. Research tools included health behavior surveillance interview form and blood pressure monitor. Data were collected between March - June 2023. Data were analyzed using statistics including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi-square test, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Statistical significance level was set at 0.05.

The results revealed that hypertensive patients after using the navigation center system had blood pressure values decreased (systolic BP 125.7 mmHg, 155.3 mmHg, p<0.001, diastolic BP 72.6, 92.1 mmHg, p<0.001) and travel expenses decreased statistical significantly (4 baht, 241 baht, p<0.001), while the mean health behavior score increased with statistical significance when compared to the group receiving regular services (3.41, 2.91, p<0.001). In summary, using the navigation center service system enable
patients to develop healthier behaviors, blood pressure decreases and reduce travel expenses. Therefore, the navigation center service system should be used in hypertensive patients and also other diseases to continuously monitor patient health care, patients have easy access to services, convenient and reduce travel expenses.
