Publication Ethics

The Journal of Nursing and Health Sciences, Nakhon Phanom University, is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved are required to strictly adhere to the principles and standards of publication ethics.

Responsibilities of Editors

1. Editors is responsible for reviewing and assessing all submitted articles to determine their suitability for publication, ensuring alignment with the journal's objectives and scope.

2. Editors must evaluate the quality of articles before publication.

3. Editors are required to strictly follow the journal's established processes and procedures.

4. Editors must apply academic reasoning in their decision-making process without bias regarding race, gender, religion, culture, politics, or the affiliation of authors.

5. Editors must not have conflicts of interest with authors or reviewers, nor should they use submitted articles for personal academic or business gain.

6. Editors cannot change article content or reviewer evaluations or limit reviewer-author communication.

7. Editors must maintain the journal's standards and continually work to improve its quality and relevance.

Responsibilities of Authors

1. Authors must ensure that their work has not been previously published or disseminated elsewhere and is not under review for publication in another journal.

2. Authors must not plagiarize the work of others and must appropriately cite any referenced works. The data presented in their articles must be factual and based on research findings. The journal prohibits authors from falsifying, fabricating, or misrepresenting data.

3. Authors must adhere to the journal's processes to ensure the quality of published content. For research-based articles, authors must obtain ethical clearance according to appropriate principles.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

1. Reviewers must ensure they possess adequate knowledge and understanding of the subject matter of the academic work they are reviewing.

2. Reviewers must focus on the quality of the article, evaluating it based on academic principles and reasoning, free from bias or personal opinions.

3. Reviewers must not exploit the academic work they review for personal gain. If they identify any plagiarism or duplication of content, they must notify the editor immediately.

4. Reviewers are required to follow the journal's provided evaluation timeline.

5. Reviewers must not disclose the contents of the articles under review.
