The objectives of this study were to investigate the health status and factors associated with health status among sugarcane farmers in Kranuan district, KhonKaen province. The data were collected by using questionnaires among 114 subjects. The results showed that the majority of the subjects had a good health status (50.9%). Factor significantly associated with health status were exercise (p-value = 0.020), physical hazard (p-value = 0.001), chemical hazard (p-value = 0.032), biological hazard (p-value = 0.007), and psychological hazard (p-value < 0.001). The findings of this study indicate that some sugarcane farmers had a poor health status. Therefore, related agencies as sub-district health promoting hospitals should organize health promotion activities, including physical and mental health, and educate in the prevention and control hazards that affect the health in the workplace among sugarcane farmers.
