THE JOB STRESS LEVEL AMONG PRODUCTION WORKERS IN ELECTRONICS FACTORY

Abstract

          The objective of this study was study job stress level among production workers in an electronics factory.
The research design is cross-sectional study. The populations of this study are 87 workers. The research instrument
is a questionnaire by dividing 3 sections there are general information, health behavior, and job stress questionnaire.
The job stress questionnaire is Thai’s job content questionnaire. After that it was determined job stress level by
Psychological Demand and Decision Latitude model.
          The study result found that the most population has low strain 34.48%, Active job 32.18%, High strain 24.14%,
and Passive job 9.20%, respectively. In the score of Thai’s job content questionnaire found that most population
has high score there are Job control 66.67%, Psychological job demand 56.32%, Physical job demand 64.37%, Job
security, 67.82%, Social support 59.77%, and Hazard at work 59.77%, respectively.
