Publication Ethics

Editor's Duties

  1. Consider and scrutinize the quality of the articles and select articles for publication in the journal after the article reviewed process has been performed with the consideration of the content of the articles are consistent with the objectives and scope of the journal.
  2. The editor must not have any stake in the author or reviewer of the article and do not use journals or articles for business purposes or for their own academic works
  3. The information of the authors and experts who review the articles must not be disclosed to other persons in any case.
  4. Maintain journal standards including developing journals to be of high quality and always up-to-date
  5. Organize a system of plagiarism checking in articles seriously. by using a program that is reliable and accepted in the academic community. Including the program "Akarawisut" and the program "Copycatch"

Author's role

  1. The author must certify that the article submitted is the work of the author and co-author whose names appear as stated.
  2. The author must certify that the article submitted for publication is a new work. and has never been published anywhere before.
  3. The author must cite the work of others, if the text is used in their own work. Including reference documents must be provided at the end of the article.
  4. If it is a research article that receives research funding, the author must include the source of funding for the research in the article and must specify conflicts of interest (if any).
  5. Articles related to humans or laboratory animals, the author must have evidence confirming that the article has been certified ethical by the Human or Animal Research Ethics Committee.
  6. The author certifies the accuracy of the content and is responsible for any opinions or conclusions in the published articles.

Duties of article reviewer

  1. Consider the quality of the article for publication based on knowledge and own expertise under academic principles and reasons without bias or personal opinion
  2. Must not disclose information of published articles or author information to other persons who are not involved during the period of article evaluation.
  3. There must be no conflict of interest or benefit with the author.
  4. If the reviewer finds out that the article is a plagiarism of other people's work, the editor must be notified immediate.

 

Duties of research on humans and animals

         Research articles submitted for publication, if it is related to research on humans and animals, this must be approval by the Human or animal (if any) research ethics committee from the writer’s institution requesting to conduct research on humans or animals. It will be taking into account of the international ethical and legal standards set by the Office of Research Standards in Humans and Animals National Research Council of Thailand. In this regard, all submitters of research articles for publication are required to submit a document certifying the ethics of research in humans or animals to accompany their submission for publication. Otherwise, no consideration will be given by the editor and editorial staff.
