Village Health Volunteer Potential Development Program to age group health managers

Abstract

     This research was  quasi experiment with two group design aimed to study the potential of village health volunteers in health management of age groups and Program to develop the potential of village health volunteers to become health managers for the age group. The study period is from February to July 2023, totaling 6 months. Sample size were 170 village health volunteers, 5 per village, by specific method, divided into Lub Sub-districts, 16 villages, 80 people by drawing lots as an experimental group. and Huay Pho Sub-district, 18 villages, 90 people were drawn by lots as a control group. Collect data from questionnaires. Data were analyzed by Content analysis: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Dependent t-test and Independent t-test.

     The study found that Understanding level of health management for age groups of village health volunteers, experimental groups, before and after implementation There was a statistically significant difference at the .05 level. After the operation, the average score was higher than. The control group was not different. when comparing the level of understanding of health management in age groups of village health volunteers experimental group and control group after operation There was a statistically significant difference at the .05 level where the experimental group after the operation had a higher mean score.
