Development of care processes for psychiatric drug abuse patients and their relatives Namon District, Kalasin Province

Abstract

     This research was Research and Development The objective is to study the situation. Psychiatric patients use drugs. and relatives who take care of Namon District, Kalasin Province and the results of the development of the care process for psychiatric patients who use drugs and their relatives in Namon District, Kalasin Province. It is a research and development (Research and Development) period of study between March 2022 - June 2022, totaling 4 months. Sample size were Psychiatric drug abusers and their relatives were 47 people in each group, totaling 94 people by purposive random sampling. Data were collected from the exchange of knowledge, Group process and questionnaire. Data were analyzed by content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, Dependent t – test and Independent t – test.

     The results of the study found that  1) Differences in depression levels before model development (March 2022) and after continuous model development (June 2022) after care model development. Mild depression decreased to no depression. The mean score decreased from 8.9 points to 4.1 points, respectively, when testing the difference in mean scores. It was found that there was a statistically significant difference before and after the measures (p<0.05, t = 4.0).

     2) The difference in suicidality levels before the model development (March 2022) and after the continuous model development (June 2022) after the suicidality measures were reduced. From low to no suicidality The mean score decreased from 1.8 points to 0.04 points, respectively, when testing the difference in mean scores. There was a statistically significant difference before and after the measures (p<0.05, t = 4.2).

     3) Differences in degree of depression and suicide after model development (June 2022) between psychiatric substance abusers and their caregivers. depression level There was a statistically significant difference (p<0.05, t = 2.9), while the level of suicidality was not different.
