The purpose of research was to study the situation and care system for HIV-infected persons with opportunistic tuberculosis infection. Including the development of a care system for people with HIV infected with opportunistic tuberculosis in Sriwilai Hospital Bueng Kan Province and using action research methodology. The sample group for data collection was service providers consisting of doctors, pharmacists, nurses and public health officials and service recipients consist of 130 patients and their relatives. Data were analyzed using a computer program to find frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. The research findings from the analysis of the service provider situation result: Service personnel will have 1 main nurse, which is insufficient to provide services and has limited access to service recipient information. In addition, the officers have many workloads causing delays in operations such as the NAP plus recording program data. In the part of service recipients, it was found that Patients have missed appointments and missed medication. Due to difficult travel and some people have to travel to work in other provinces on a regular basis.
The results of the development of a care system HIV-infected persons with opportunistic tuberculosis infection found that There is a system to deliver medicines to the home in case the appointment cannot be made. The Home Jai group was established (to help friends) to help each other with support from health personnel, resulting in patient satisfaction with the service at the highest level.
