This study aims to compare and analyze two case studies regarding the nursing care of patients experiencing seizures due to alcohol withdrawal admitted to the male ward of Borabue Hospital. The study covers the entire process, starting from the emergency withdrawal phase, continuous patient care, recovery phase, and discharge planning. Data is collected from patients, their relatives, and medical records. The assessment includes symptom evaluation, medical history review, and physical examination. This information is used to formulate nursing diagnoses, plan nursing care, and continuously assess the nursing outcomes.

The study was conducted at the male patient ward of Borabue Hospital between June 1 and December 25, 2023.
Case study 1 involved a 34-year-old Thai male with a daily alcohol consumption habit. After one day of alcohol cessation, the patient presented with withdrawal symptoms such as hand tremors, confusion, and restlessness, classified as moderate severity. Treatment included anxiolytic medication, brain-nourishing drugs, and rehabilitation involving empowerment strategies. The patient responded well, achieving emotional and behavioral control, and successfully reintegrating with the family.
Case study 2 featured a 34-year-old Thai male who consumed alcohol daily, experiencing four seizures at home after one day of abstinence. The patient exhibited low blood levels of potassium and magnesium, alongside symptoms of delirium, restlessness, hallucinations, and constant movement. The severity was classified as severe. Treatment involved anxiolytics, brain-nourishing drugs, and psychiatric medications administered through injections. While the patient achieved emotional and behavioral control, it took longer to stabilize, necessitating a prolonged hospital stay.
