Development of seamless elderly clinic service model, Khok Pho District, Pattani Province.

Abstract

     The quasi-experimental one group pretest posttest design aimed to analyze the situation, develop a model, and evaluate the results of the development of a seamless elderly clinic service model in Khok Pho District, Pattani Province. The sample consisted of 60 elderly people who received services at the elderly clinic in Khok Pho Hospital. The research instruments were a semi-structured questionnaire, a satisfaction assessment form of the development team, and a satisfaction assessment form of elderly people who received services at the hospital, and 4) a record of the care of elderly people who received services at the clinic. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient was between .85 and .92. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Independent t-test.
     The results of the research found that the average satisfaction of the model development team was at a very satisfactory level (M = 4.47, SD = 0.51). 2) The average satisfaction score of the elderly in the group receiving seamless elderly clinic services was significantly higher than the group receiving regular services at a statistical level of .05 (p < .05). 3) 100 percent of the elderly who were screened and found to be at risk of dementia/falling received care in the elderly clinic.
