Development of a network-based management model for infection prevention and control of sub-district health promoting hospitals in Phatthalung Province

This research This research and development aims to study the problems of quality development
according to the star hospital criteria for infection prevention and control in sub-district health promoting hospitals,
Phatthalung Province and to develop a management model for infection prevention and control in sub-district
health promoting hospitals Phatthalung Province Data were collected with 124 persons in charge of infection
prevention and control in sub-district health promoting hospitals, divided into 4 phases. Data collection between
August 2021 – March 2022 was collected both quantitatively and qualitatively. Data were analyzed by descriptive
statistics, ie number, percentage, mean, and inferential statistics such as paired t – test, while qualitative data were
used content analysis.
The results showed that after implementing the network management for infection prevention and
control of sub-district health promoting hospitals in Phatthalung province, the group of mentors at the district
level in Phatthalung province were significantly better than before ( p<.001). As for the performance of the persons responsible for infection prevention and control work of the sub-district health promoting hospitals, it
was found that after the implementation of the development of infection prevention and control work at the
sub-district health promoting hospitals, it was better. Before implementing the prevention and control of infection
in the sub-district health promoting hospitals was statistically significant (p<.001). However, participatory learning
should be encouraged in the systematic operation and work development.
