This research is a quasi-experimental research. The Pretest-Posttest Design was designed to develop a selfmanagement program for type 2 diabetic patients and to study the effect of self-management programs on selfmanagement abilities of patients. Type 2 diabetes and blood sugar levels of type 2 diabetic patients. The study population is type 2 diabetic patients who are treated at the hospital. The health district's stone embroidery and Health Promotion Hospital Tambon Huay Kaew Number of lines per group of 30 students who were selected group of samples that meet the criteria. The subjects participated in the self-management program of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Data were collected using interview forms. Self-assessment and tracking form And blood glucose testing machine Data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test.
The results of the comparison of differences of mean scores of self-management behavior of the sample group before and after joining the program showed that the overall score of self-management behavior in the experimental group after joining the program was higher than before joining the program. There was statistically significant (t = 3.48, p<.001) and self-management behaviors in each aspect. It was found that the mean scores of self-management behaviors in food Buttons trial program, higher than before the program was statistically significant (t = 2.96, p <.05), self-management behavior of the other side. No difference The blood sugar level of the experimental group after the program was significantly lower than before the program (t = 5.9, p <.05).
