Health surveillance in the workplace

Abstract

     This research was research and development aimed to studied the situation of occupational health in the workplace, establish guidelines and develop guidelines for health surveillance of the workplace between October 2017 to September 2019. Sample size were employees establishments in Kalasin Province Which were voluntarily participating in the project were 21 places in 463 people in 2017, 30 in 421 people in the year 2018 and 22 in 962 in the year 2019.Data were collected by the health examination records of risk group employees who work in the workplace. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis.

     The study found that health examination results based on risk of risk group employees who work in the workplace 2019. The employees had 77.59% of normal vision, 64.99% of normal hearing and 94.82% of normal lung function, which is more than from 2017 and 2018. According to the provision of hospital services, 94.58% of staff had normal vision, 81.10% of normal hearing and 100% of normal lung function, which is higher than 2017 and 2018. And the health examination results of risky employees who work in the workplace in the year 2019 found that normal BMI at 40.00 percent, Normal Hematocrit at 91.76 percent, FBS 80.95 percent and Normal Cholesterol 56.77 percent, with Hematocrit, FBS improving.
