Abstract

     This case study was conducted to study the effects of a Happy Reminiscence Therapy Program in 30 people affected by Unrest in 3 Southern Border Provinces. HRT program based on a holistic nursing model to heal the mind affected by Unrest in 3 Southern Border Provinces. The treatment took 6 sessions of 30-40 minutes each, conducted during January 2018-March 2019. The research tool consisted of 3 parts: 1) general information questionnaire, 2) mental health screening form, and 3) the happy reminiscence therapy program. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, paired t-test and qualitative.

     The results of the study of 30 samples showed that most of them were female (83.3%), Islamic religion (63.3%), widow status (70%), age 41-59 years (53.3%), completed primary school (40%) employment (53.3%). After HRT group therapy, the subjects showed a decrease in Psychological Symptoms (Depression, PTSD., Complicate grief) score (t=8.469), lower cost (Cost) (t=29.682), Happiness
increased (t=2.714). And the quality of life was at a good level (t=2.994) with statistical significance at .05. Recommendation: the HRT Program should be expanded and applied to people of all age groups.
