Abstract

     The objective of this quasi experimental study to examine effects of a fall prevention program on self care for pre-fall older and satisfaction on pre fall older adults. Applying Orem’s Self Care Deficit Theory. Were samples this study, 30 samples in experimental group and 30 samples in comparison group. The 6 week pre fall prevention program consisted of knowledge, video, handbooks, home health care, and environment. The comparison group received knowledge. Data collected before and after the intervention. Data analysis using percentage, mean, standard deviation, paired t-test.

     Results reveal that, the experimental group had significantly higher self care scores. This fall prevention program were high safety in older adults. Satisfaction were high scores to this program.
