THE MOTIVATION AFFECTING THE GOOD GOVERNANCE ADMINISATION OF THE CHIEF AT HEATH CENTERS IN MUEANG DISTRICT, SAKONNAKHON PROVINCE

The study is a cross - sectional descriptive research. The purpose of this research was to study about the motivation that affects a good governance administration of the chief of health centers in Mueang district, Sakon Nakhon. The populations of this study were chiefs of health centers at Sakonnakhon. The data were collected by using questionnaires from 29 people randomly and the Cronbach coefficient of instruments was 0.95. Moreover, 14 interviews were collected. The data were analyzed to acquire percentage,mean,standard deviation,Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Stepwise Multiple Regression.
The motivation of the chief at health centers was ‘high’ level ( = 3.89, S.D. = 0.38) and the good governance administration of the chief at health centers was also ‘high’ level (
=4.22, S.D. =0.44). The motivations were significantly related to the good governance administration of the chief at health centers in Mueang district at 0.05 level (r =0.689, p-value<0.01). There were significance variables that predicted the good governance administration of the chief at health centers in Mueang district such as motivation factors for respect, personal life factors, policy and administrative factors, responsibility factors,salary factor and operational condition factor.The statistical significance was 0.05 level. All 6 factors can predict a good governance administration of the chiefs of health centers in Mueang district,Sakon Nakhon as 59.00 percentages (
2 =0.590, P- value < 0.035). Almost problems and obstacles were 33.33 percentages came from salary factor.
