Abstract

Nowadays, health-related activities such as running for health are continuously increasing because more people are interested in such activities. Organizers therefore need to increase the number of staff to take care of the injured or people with acute illnesses that may have never shown symptoms before which may lead to death. Other factors, such as, physical condition that is not ready or going against their own body may cause the heart to beat irregularly and cause severe physical illness. The staff at the event might have limitations that prevent them from looking after all attendees. Moreover, identify the location of the injured person can be done through normal communication only. Hence, the location identification might be incorrect. In order to prevent such problem, we have developed a platform with wearable devices for health-related activities. The location can be identified with the press of SOS button on a wearable device. Our platform has been used (wearable device not included) in a real biking event in Khao Yai National Park, Nakhon Ratchasima province.
