Abstract

Process mining is the analysis of processes using event data, and it involves the use of specialized software to create and display process models, showing whether the real processes occurring at a workplace align with the established systems. If the actual processes align with the predefined systems, it provides confidence to management that the processes follow the specified standards. However, if the results indicate discrepancies
between the actual and predefined processes, further analysis is required to understand where and why these deviations occur. This analysis helps in considering improvements to ensure alignment with future standards.
