Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • Manuscripts should be prepared in single-spacing format using the TH Sarabun New font, with a font size of 16 pt for both Thai and English text. Italics should be used instead of underlining to indicate author affiliations (except for URLs). Figures, illustrations, and tables must be appropriately placed within the text in accordance with the journal’s guidelines.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

1. Manuscript Size and Format

  • Paper: A4 (8.5 x 11 inches), single-sided printing
  • Font: TH Sarabun New, 16 point
  • Margins:
    • Top and left: 2.54 cm
    • Right and bottom: 2 cm
  • Line spacing: Single-spaced for easy reading and editing
  • Illustrations: Color or black-and-white images with separate captions written below each figure
  • Length: Maximum 15 pages

2. Manuscript Requirements
The manuscript may be prepared in Thai or English, and should not exceed 15 pages. It must be organized into the following sections, in this order:
‐ Abstract (in both Thai and English)
‐ Introduction
‐ Methods (for research involving human subjects, please cite the human-research ethics approval number)
‐ Results
‐ Discussion
‐ Recommendations
‐ Acknowledgments
‐ References
Include all tables and figures within the manuscript.

3. The manuscript must include the following sections:

Title: The title should be concise and clearly reflect the objectives and content of the article. Titles must be provided in both Thai and English.

Authors: Author names must be listed in both Thai and English (do not use abbreviations). Also include keywords, a brief description of academic qualifications, and institutional affiliations, all in both Thai and English.

Abstract: The abstract should succinctly summarize the essential content. Only include necessary information; avoid lengthy explanations. Include key statistics and use concise, complete sentences in prose. The abstract should not exceed 300 words and should not be divided into sections. It should contain the following components: objectives, materials and methods, results, and brief discussion or recommendations. Do not include footnotes or references in the abstract. Abstracts must be provided in both Thai and English.

Introduction: Describe the background and significance of the issue being researched, a review of related literature, research objectives, conceptual framework, definitions of terms, and other relevant information (if any).

Objectives: Clearly state the research objectives.

Methods: Describe the study methods, including information sources, data collection procedures, sampling methods, use of research instruments, and data analysis or statistical methods used.

Results: Present findings in an organized manner with evidence and data, and provide interpretation or analysis of the results.

Discussion and Conclusion: Summarize findings according to the study objectives in a concise and coherent manner. Discuss whether the results are consistent with the initial hypotheses. Refer to relevant theories, prior research, or related studies. If there is a conclusion section, briefly summarize the background and significance of the problem, objectives, scope of research, methods, key findings, and recommendations for practical application or further research.

Recommendations: Provide concise recommendations for applying the study outcomes or for future relevant research.

Acknowledgements: Briefly thank co-researchers, relevant organizations, or individuals for academic or funding support.

References: Use Vancouver referencing style, placing numbers in superscript after statements or cited authors (e.g., (1)). Assign number 1 to the first cited reference and continue sequentially throughout the article. For repeated references, use the original number.

Research article

"A research article" refers to a manuscript derived from a research report, study report, independent study, or thesis, based on the researcher’s primary data. It presents a concise summary of the research process in the form of an article following the standard structure of a research paper. The components include title, author(s), institutional affiliation, abstract, keywords in both Thai and English, introduction, objectives, methodology, results, discussion and conclusion, recommendations, acknowledgements, and references. The length of the article must not exceed 15 A4 pages.

Academic article

“A academic article” refers to a manuscript developed through the compilation of knowledge and a literature review on one or more topics within the journal’s scope. The content is synthesized and reorganized to explain, analyze, and interpret information, or to propose academic knowledge, innovations, or contributions beneficial to society. The components include title, author(s), institutional affiliation, abstract, keywords in both Thai and English, introduction, main content, conclusion, and references. The length of the article must not exceed 15 A4 pages.

Investigation Report

"A full epidemiological investigation report" refers to a report on disease and health hazard investigations comprising the following components: title, author(s) and investigation team, abstract, introduction, objectives, investigation methods, investigation results, discussion, problems and limitations, conclusion, recommendations, acknowledgements, and references. The length of the article must not exceed 15 A4 pages.
