FAT PERCENTAGE AND PULSE OF ELDERLY WOMEN DOING AEROBIC EXERCISE IN HEALTH PARK, MAHA SARAKHAM PROVINCE

Abstract
This research aimed to study fat percentage and pulse of elderly women doing aerobic exercise in the health park, Maha Sarakham province before and after testing and to compare the percentage of fat and pulse of elderly women who exercised with aerobic dancing in the health park, Maha Sarakham province within the group before and after the test. The sample group consisted of female elderly people, age between 51-60 years by purposive selecting of 15 people who exercised by aerobic dancing in the health park from 1 month or more. The tools used in the research were Harvard Step Test and fat percentage measurement. Data was analyzed by using the percentage, mean, standard deviation and comparisons within the sample before and after testing, using the t-test dependent statistic. The research results found that before testing, the sample group performed aerobic exercise in the health park showed that the mean fat percentage was 27.5 and the standard deviation was 5.31 and the pulse has a mean value of 157.6 and a standard deviation of 19.94 while after testing the sample group who exercised by aerobic dancing in the health park showed that the mean fat percentage was 28.46 and the standard deviation was 4.85 and the pulse has a mean value of 163.53 and standard deviation of 16.43. The results of comparing the differences in fat percentage and pulse of the sample groups before and after testing showed that there was no difference. Because the duration of the aerobic dance training in the health park of the sample group was 4 weeks and they were unable to control their daily food intake, resulting in little development.
