Abstract

The main objective of this research was to develop a circuit-based SAQ training program. The researcher set the specific research objectives as follows: 1) To develop a circuit-based SAQ training program for male football players at Roi Et Rajabhat University. 2) To study the effects of circuit-based SAQ training on speed, agility, and quickness of male football players at Roi Et Rajabhat University. The SAQ circuit program was created for speed, agility, and quickness. The content validity was examined by experts before being applied to the sample group of 20 male football players at Roi Et Rajabhat University, selected by a two-stage sampling method. They were divided into a control group of 10 people and an experimental group of 10 people. The training period was 6 weeks with three retests: before training, during the 3 rd week of training, and after the 6th week of training under the same environmental conditions. The purpose was to study the effects of using the circuit-based SAQ training program on speed, agility, and quickness of male football players at Roi Et Rajabhat University by using One-way repeated measure ANOVA with statistical significance set at .05 level. The results of the research found that the SAQ circuit training program had content validity of .93. The experimental group had a statistically significant difference in mean time in speed, agility, and quickness tests after the 3 rd week of training and after the 6th week of training at the .05 level. And the experimental group had a statistically significant increase in speed, agility, and quickness after the 6th week of training at the .05 level.
