Abstract

This academic article presents an approach for adapting the HomeCourt application, an augmented reality (AR)-based platform designed to promote physical activity through interactive movement. The adaptation utilizes enlarged screen projection to overcome the limitations of the standard HomeCourt interface, which relies on a small display that can reduce visual engagement and diminish enjoyment. By projecting the application onto a larger surface, the method enhances visibility, supports more immersive participation, and increases students’ enjoyment. This adaptation can be integrated into physical education classes and school-based physical activity programs. The findings indicate that the approach improves students’ visual experience, encourages active participation, and heightens classroom engagement. Furthermore, it demonstrates strong potential as an effective learning medium for Generation Z and Generation Alpha learners, supporting technology-enhanced physical education and contributing to the sustainable development of innovative digital learning resources.
