Abstract

This study aimed to develop a standardized agility test, a key component of physical fitness for high - performances football players, using the Arrowhead Agility Test as the evaluation tool. Simple random sampling was used to select 88 professional football players from four Thai League T1 clubs. The sample consisted of 88 players of all ages: 8 goalkeepers, 26 defenders, 35 midfielders, and 19 forwards. The results showed that the Arrowhead Agility Test yielded a run attempt of 8.95, a first-order run of 9.05, and a directional frequency of 18.00 seconds. These findings suggest the potential for developing a standardized agility test for high - performances football players, which could be used as part of a football excellence and professional sports program
