Abstract

     Hip fractures are a serious problem. It was found that the elderly when they fragility fall  lead to fractures in the elderly, and the location where the bone is usually fractured is the hip joint, resulting in the elderly being unable to support themselves Suffering from pain and not being able to move the body stress, insomnia, confusion, bed ridden complications ( pressure sores, pneumonia, urinary tract infections and deep  vein  thrombosis ) Treatment by rapid hip fixation surgery and the use of nursing process from admission to discharge. Helps keep seniors safe recover quickly and able to help themselves with performance similar to that before having a hip fracture prevention of complications by educating patients and relatives, demonstrating, practicing skills continuously will be able to prevent complications Fall risk assessment and risk prevention can prevent falls. repeated fractures

     The study found that Application of nursing process in nursing care of the elderly with hip fracture. Systematically and used  nursing care plan in accordance with the doctor's treatment plan.  problems and needs of the elderly will encourage the elderly to be safe from suffering, pain  can prevent complications, pressure sores, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, deep  vein  thrombosis   reassessment repetition Elderly caregiver skills training And continuity care planning will help the elderly to have knowledge and skills. When discharged from the hospital, the elderly will be safe from complications. have a good quality of life similar to the quality of life of the elderly before fracture
