Objective: To study the nursing care of patients with hypertension and diabetes with end-stage renal failure.
Case study: A case study of a 73 year old Thai male patient with a history of history of drinking alcohol, regularly smoking. The patient was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease for about 2 months and was treated with peritoneal dialysis. The patient was admitted to the outpatient department on February 2, 2022 with swollen feet on both sides and swollen and red abdomen around the dialysis line wound for 3 days before coming to the hospital. The nursing process had used to take care of patients before, during, and after checking for the patient receiving prompt and appropriate treatment. By assessing, screening, taking history and physical examination, the patient is tired and unable to lie down. Doctor diagnosed that patient had excess water, abdominal infection with anemia. The doctor admitted to hospital in the internal medicine ward for men and followed up the patients. After that, the patient is safe without complications and was discharged, total of hospital admission for 4 days. The doctor made an appointment to follow up on the treatment results at the outpatient room and patient was received continuation of palliative care.
