Evaluation of the Home Ward Service System Management for Patients with Confirmed COVID-19 Infection in Buntharik District, Ubon Ratchathani Province

This research is an evaluation research the purpose of this study was to evaluation of the Home Ward Service System Management for Patients with Confirmed COVID-19 Infection in Buntharik District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The study consisted of 430 people, including those with confirmed COVID-19 infection. 403 people who received the service from the Home ward system, 27 related health workers. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation statistics. and analytical statistics Pearson Chi –square. It was found that the Home Ward service system for caring for patients with confirmed COVID-19 infection was used by Buntharik Hospital personnel to take care of patients with the Telemedicine system for re-assessment appointments, including coordination so that Patients were evaluated on physician orders. The primary care unit personnel in the area Follow up on daily patient symptoms and coordinate with the project manager at the district level to coordinate appropriate care in the event that the patient has abnormal symptoms. The information used is a communication system both telephone and line. It was found that most patients with confirmed COVID-19 infection who logged into the Home Ward service system were over 60 years old, representing 62.03%, followed by 5-59 years old, representing 37.22% and younger than 5. years, representing 0.74 percent, respectively. The youngest age is 3 years, the oldest age is 90 years. The risk of confirmed COVID-19 patients entering the Home Ward service system was mostly hypertension, 18.12%, followed by DM with Hypertension, DM and BMI, accounting for 16.37%, 11.41 and 9.67% according to number. Patients' symptoms improved, accounting for 82.38%.followed by 17.12% of worsening symptoms must be admitted before the appointment, and 0.49% of worsening symptoms must be admitted, respectively. The age level affects the treatment outcome of patients in the Home ward system differently at the statistical significance level of 0.05. Congenital disease affects the treatment outcome of patients in the Home ward system differently at the statistical significance level of 0.05.
