The Development of Nursing Service Practice Guidelines to Promote Self-Management of Patients with COPD Clinic.

This research was research and development by developing a nursing service practice guideline to promote self-management of patients with COPD. COPD Clinic The objective of this study was to develop and study the outcomes of the nursing service practice guideline in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who met the criteria for a new chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. in a registry of patients with mild to very severe COPD who receive services for treatment at the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease clinic Between January 2021 - June 2021, 15 people. Collecting data from the knowledge test record form and assessment form Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The knowledge scores on self-management from the health status assessment of new COPD patients were compared to assess the risk of acute exacerbation in the future with the COPD Assessment Test (CAT) and after receiving nursing services according to the nursing service guidelines using the Paired t-test, with the level of statistical significance set at p < 0.001.
The results showed that After receiving nursing services according to the nursing service practice guideline, it was found that the sample group had a statistically significant increase in the mean score of self-management knowledge than before the program (Mean 3.00 S.D. 0.32 vs Mean 5.65 S.D. 0.67; p < 0.001) and had a statistically significant increase in the mean health status (COPD Assessment Test Score) than before the nursing service according to the nursing service practice guideline (Mean 20.83 S.D. 3.41 vs Mean 19.33 S.D. 3.73; p < 0.001)
