System development of emergency psychiatric patients Prachaksinlapakhom district Udontani Province

Abstract

     This research was research and development aimed  to study the situations of emergency care of psychiatric patients and to develop the process of taking care of emergency psychiatric patients by community participation. Prachaksinlapakhom Hospital Udon Thani Province. Sample size were 738 community leaders in Prajak Sinlapakhom Hospital. Udon Thani Province, consisting of community leaders, representatives of public health volunteers, volunteers and network partners. The duration of the study was from September 2020 to November 2022, totaling 26 months. Data were collected from medical records and questionnaires. Data were analyzed by content analysis.

Distribution of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Inferential statistics are F – test using two way ANOVA technique, Dependent t – test, F – test using Repeated Measurement technique and LSD.

     The results showed that the knowledge and understanding of emergency psychiatric care by community participation and the results of caring for people with psychiatric symptoms from substance abuse. who are admitted to the hospital/transfer to the hospital Year 2022 (September 2022), including all sub-districts, found that overall and by side at the highest level Except for the general understanding of emergency psychiatric patients and aggressive behavior from stimulant use and first aid, at a high level, there was no difference between the parish and the position. The comparison of knowledge and understanding in emergency psychiatric care with community participation before (2020), after (2021) and after (2022) procedures were significantly different at the .05 level. where after the process (2022) had the highest mean scores and the results of caring for people with psychiatric symptoms from substance abuse who are admitted to the hospital/transfer to the hospital In 2022, it was found that patients under care had no abnormalities.
