Factors related to behavior in preventing COVID-19 disease during the endemic phase of village health volunteers Nikhom Nam Un District Sakon Nakhon Province Hospital

Abstract

     This study was survey research aimed to study factors related to behavior in preventing COVID-19 disease during the endemic phase of village health volunteers Nikhom Nam Un District Sakon Nakhon Province. The Sample size were 230 village Health Volunteer in Nikom Nam Un District Sakon Nakhon Province. Data were collected using a questionnaire. By analyzing statistical data, including descriptive statistics. To find frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and inferential statistics, use Stepwise multiple regression analysis set the statistical
significance level at 0.05.
     Result: The results found that there are factors that can predict behavior to prevent COVID-19 disease among village health volunteers as they progress through the stages of endemic disease. The identified prediction equation, with statistical significance at 0.05, emerges as the most robust model. It comprises perceived risk opportunities (β =0.583, p-value < 0.001), additional factors (β = 0.250, p-value < 0.001), educational level (β = -0.137, p-value < 0.001),family members with COVID-19 (β = 0.119, p-value < 0.001), and age (β = -0.090, p-value < 0.001). Together, these factors provide a comprehensive prediction for the prevention of COVID-19 disease among village health volunteers. The model demonstrates a 64.4% explanatory power in relation to the stages of endemic disease (R²_Adj=0.644, pvalue=0.024).
