Nursing care for Whipple procedure : 2 case study

This study was case study aimed to study nursing care for patients undergoing the Whipple procedure, compare 2 patients, and plan nursing care for all stages of the surgery to ensure safety. No complications Study on a specific case-by-case basis A case study of the Whipple procedure was selected and basic data were collected. History of illness, family history, psychosocial information, causes and symptoms of disease Diagnosis The doctor's physical examination and treatment are used as data for analysis to evaluate the patient's situation and plan nursing care for all stages of surgery.
The results of the study revealed that the first patient was diagnosed with ampulla cancer. The second was diagnosed with cancer of the small intestine. Treated by surgery on the head of the pancreas and cutting the upper small intestine together with the bile duct. and the gallbladder removed It is a surgery that takes 4-12 hours and after surgery the patient must be hospitalized for approximately 2 weeks.
