Nursing care of patients with cervical spine injuries who receive general anesthesia for ACDF operation Kalasin Hospital : 2 Case Studies

Abstract

     The purpose of this study was to study nursing care for patients with cervical spine injuries who received general anesthesia for ACDF operation. Comparing 2 case studies in patients admitted to Kalasin Hospital in 2023.  Data were collected from inpatient medical records and interviewing patients and relatives.  Data were analyzed using Gordon's health model and Orem's self-care deficiency theory.The results showed that the two patients had the same and different problems. The researcher therefore analyzed the problems of nursing in a holistic care used to define the nursing diagnosis and nursing process both before, during and after anesthesia that covers physical, mental, emotional and social as well as bringing knowledge skills and experiences from the practice of anesthesia to patients with cervical spine injuries were used. It was found that the patients were safe and no complication.
