NURSING CARE FOR PREGNANCY WITH PRE-ECLAMPSIA IN LABOUR: COMPARISON OF 2 CASE

Abstract

     This study was a case study aimed to study and compare two full-term mothers who had high blood pressure during pregnancy. The comparative study was conducted in women who gave birth with high blood pressure due to pregnancy. In the target group of pregnant women with high blood pressure due to pregnancy receiving treatment in the delivery room. Nong Kung Si Hospital Kalasin Province, 2022 - 2023, 2 cases. Collection and analysis of data from medical records and In-depth interview  from patients and relatives.

     Results: Case study 1, age 18 years, gestational age 37+2 weeks, hospitalized with symptoms of labor pains and severe high blood pressure, received prenatal care as per appointment only 2 times until labor. The first visit was gestational at 20 weeks. Case study 2, age 23 years, gestational age 39 + 1 week, received prenatal care as per appointment 9 times. Both cases presented labor pains and severe high blood pressure. The diagnosis was Gestational pregnancy-induced hypertension and treated with MgSO4 to prevent seizures. Furthermore, a treatment method is to give birth as soon as possible. The nursing process provides systematic care covering problems.
