The effectiveness of operations surveillance prevention and control of COVID-19 in the community of village health volunteers CharoenSin District SakonNakhon Province

Abstract

     This study is a cross-sectional survey research (Survey research by Cross-sectional Analytical Study) using the CIPP Model evaluation format, which includes evaluating the effectiveness in context. Evaluating the effectiveness of input factors Evaluation of process effectiveness Assess productivity effectiveness By evaluating from Performance of Village health volunteers who have been working for at least 6 months or more during the COVID-19 epidemic situation during 2022, Charoen Sin District Sakon Nakhon Province. Sample size were 76 people was selected between October and November 2023 by simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, inferential statistics, including multiple regression analysis. Stepwise Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, analyzing multivariate relationships, Pearson' product moment correlation coefficient.

     The results of the research found that overall knowledge regarding operations, surveillance, prevention, and control of COVID-19 in the community was at a moderate level. Has an average score of 10.57 (S.D.= 1.72). Has an overall attitude regarding operations, surveillance, prevention, and control of COVID-19 in the community at a good level. Average score is 38.71 (S.D.= 4.99). Has overall behavior regarding operations, monitoring. Be careful, prevent and control COVID-19 disease in the community at a good level, with an average score of 26.45 (S.D.= 2.58) with an effectiveness level. Good level in every issue Overall effectiveness level in terms of output (practice) had an average score of 67.30 (S.D.= 5.3) Age, highest education, marital status, monthly income Period of working as a village health volunteer, other positions in the community, and behavior related to surveillance operations Prevent and control COVID-19 disease There was a statistically significant relationship at the 0.05 level. It was found that behavioral factors related to operations, surveillance, prevention and control of COVID-19 disease. Factors such as time spent as a village health volunteer and other factors related to position in the community, all three variables can together predict the effectiveness of surveillance operations.
