Performance according to the policy of a team of 3 personal physicians in caring for vulnerable groups of Uttaradit Province

Abstract

     This research was action research. The objective is to study the results of operations according to the policy of a team of 3 personal doctors in caring for vulnerable groups in Uttaradit Province. The first sample group was a family doctor team, numbering 180 people. The second group sample group was 180 vulnerable family doctor clinic service recipients. Data were collected from October to November 2023 with a questionnaire on the effectiveness of operations according to the policy of a team of 3 personal doctors in caring for vulnerable groups. Satisfaction and quality of life of vulnerable service recipients Data were analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation.
     The research results found that effectiveness of operations according to the policy of a team of 3 personal doctors or a team of 3 doctors in caring for vulnerable groups in Uttaradit Province; (1) Context: able to respond to the needs and solve problems of the people and operate in areas with direct compliance with government policy (2) In terms of inputs, the organization of the referral system for patient care is comprehensive and uses technology to care for patient groups. (3) Process: home visits to give advice, screen, follow up, and provide basic care to patients Medical treatment and counseling, coordination and referral for special treatment. (4) Product: able to respond and communicate academic knowledge, disease surveillance and control promote health. Factors for success include clear policies/target groups. Teamwork/cooperation coordination/role as a result, the satisfaction of service recipients who are vulnerable groups is at a high level. Problems and obstacles include workload/inadequate personnel.
