The Effectiveness Of Health Literacy Enhancing Programs For Work Safety Among Infectious Waste Collector At Chum Phae hospital, Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province

This is a Quasi-Experimental Research. aimed to evaluate the Effectiveness Of Health Literacy Enhancing Programs For Work Safety Among Infectious Waste Collector At Chum Phae Hospital, Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province. The experimental group consisted of 41 people obtained by purposive selection. Data, collected by using a questionnaire, was analyzed by using descriptive statistics. and inferential statistics, Paired Sample t-test, At confidence value 95%
The research found that all of the experimental group was female, with mean age of 47.73 years (S.D.=7.15). Their knowledge level before the experiment was mostly at a moderate level. 20 Most of the people (48.78%) after the experiment were at a high level. 31 people (75.61%) after joining had a significantly higher mean score than before joining (P-value<0.001). Health literacy Before the experiment, the majority were at an adequate level, 26 people (63.41%), with an overall average of 35.02 points. After the experiment, most were at an adequate level, 22 people (53.66%), followed by 17 at an excellent level. People (41.46%) had an overall mean score of 39.56 (S.D.=5.59) after joining had a higher mean score than before joining. Statistically Significant (P-value<0.001) Satisfaction after the experiment, average overall satisfaction was 4.35 points (S.D.= 0.46), high level of satisfaction.
