Development of Health Care Services System for Caring for Pregnant Women at high risk under the Provision of Secondary Hospital network services,Mahasarakham Province

Abstract

     This action research aimed to develop and evaluate health care services system for pregnant women at high risk under the provision of secondary hospital network services,Mahasarakham Province. The adopted health care services system was developed by multidisciplinary team in the service network under the supervision of Phayakkhaphumphisai Hospital, consisting of the host hospital, Phayakkhaphum Phisai Hospital,Client hospitals are Yangsisurat Hospital and Nadun Hospital by application of the WHO’s Six Building Blocks of A Health System principle.The research activities were implemented during October 2020-September 2022. Analyses of data using descriptive statistics; counts, percentage,mean,standard deviation and qualitative data applied content analysis.
     Results of the study: Development of a care service system for pregnant women at high risk. Under the provision of secondary hospital network services Maha Sarakham Province As a result, personnel have knowledge Compliance with guidelines for caring for high-risk pregnant women has increased. The multidisciplinary team was highly satisfied with the service system. Results for pregnant women revealed that pregnant women received timely and accurate referrals from 81.66% to 98.37%. Complications in high-risk pregnant women decreased from 15.38% to 9.23%, and premature births from 4.02. was 3.04. Infants had Birth Asphyxia from 19.80% to 10.01. Mothers had PPH from 1.69% to 1.01. No mothers or infants were found dead.
