Development guidelines for the prevention of infection with maternal postpartum perineal wound.

Abstract

     This Study was Results of the development of guidelines for preventing postpartum infection in mothers with perineal wounds. The objective is to study clear guidelines for the prevention of perineal wound infection and develop guidelines for the prevention of infection in postpartum mothers with perineal wounds. It is research and development (Research and Development). The study period is from March to April 2024, totaling 2 months. Data is collected from checklist forms and medical records. Data were analyzed using content analysis, Frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
     The results of the study found that following the guidelines for preventing infected perineal wounds by professional nurses in antenatal care, labor room work, postpartum work, and following up with the guidelines for preventing perineal wound infections by professional nurses in antenatal care were 100% effective and Data on perineal wound infection rates between March and April 2024 did not find any perineal wound infection.
