Nursing care of elderly pregnant women with severe high blood pressure due to pregnancy

Abstract

     This study is a case study. The objective is to study nursing care for older birth attendants who have severe pregnancy-related hypertension. The study was conducted on a second pregnant woman, age 37 years, gestational age 38 weeks, antenatal care 9 times in total.. Blood results are normal. The doctor has scheduled a hospital stay to give medication to speed up labor. While waiting to give birth, the patient had a problem with high blood pressure.
     The results of the study found that doctor considered giving MgSo4. Laboratory results found CR 4.70, SGOT 212, SGPT 232, eGFR 72. The doctor suspected that the birth attendant had CPD c severe preeeclampsia c partial HEELP syndrome and therefore considered terminating the pregnancy by cesarean section. After the birth attendant received nursing care, it was found that the birth attendant did not have seizures. Postpartum hemorrhage or have been seriously harmed until disabled or killed. This study shows that nurses play an important role in patient care from the initial assessment.
