Development of a model caring for psychiatric patients Na Kae Hospital Nakhon Phanom Province

Abstract

     This research is an action research aimed to develop and study the results of developing a model for caring for psychiatric patients. Na Kae Hospital Nakhon Phanom Province. The sample group was group of mental disorders (Psychotic disorder) there are 120 people. Data collection tools using workshops to brainstorm opinions and tests, questionnaires. Data analyzed by general information, satisfaction of the sample group, qualitative data on health indicators of the use of care models for psychiatric patients using descriptive statistics, finding frequencies, average percentages. and compare data analyzed by General information using dependent Sample t-test statistics.
     Results : It was found that 1) Development of a model for caring for psychiatric patients This leads to a model and guidelines/procedures for caring for psychiatric patients. In hospitals there is more clarity and concreteness. 2) Satisfaction of health teams, related teams and patients with mental disorders (Psychotic disorder) After developing the system, satisfaction scores were higher than before developing the system. 3) Data comparison Health indicators of using the model of care for psychiatric patients were found that after the development of the index information system
