Effectiveness of pain management and analgesic administration guidelines in postoperative mothers at Phen Hospital, Udon Thani Province.

The purpose of this action research was to study the effectiveness of using pain management guidelines and analgesic administration of mothers after cesarean section in the postoperative period in the recovery room. Phen Hospital The sample group consisted of 3 nurse anesthetists and 30 postoperative patients. The research tool for nurse anesthetists is a guideline for back pain management. Surgery in the recovery room and satisfaction assessment form Reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.97 The research tool for patients was a postoperative pain recorder in the recovery room. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including frequency, mean, percentage.
The results of the research found that pain management practices and analgesic administration of mothers after cesarean section in the postoperative period in the recovery room Able to reduce pain to 7-10 points. When considering pain medication, it was found that the need for postoperative pain medication in the recovery room decreased. The satisfaction of the anesthesiologists with the pain management practices and analgesic administration of mothers after cesarean section in the postoperative period in the recovery room was found to be at the highest level of satisfaction in the recovery room at 15 minutes, at 30 minutes, at 45 minutes, until at 60 minutes, accounting for 13.3, 10.0, 26.7, 6.7, and 6.7 percent, respectively.
