Development of health care models for pregnancy patient for receiving service in Waengnoi Hospital Khon Kaen Province.

Abstract

     This research is action research aim to developing and implement of health care model for pregnancy women who come to receive services in delivery room at Wangnoi Hospital, Khon Kaen Province. Study was during in May 2022 - May 2023 total of 13 months. Sample group consisted 5 nurse in delivery room and 9 interdisciplinary professionals, and 54 pregnant to receive delivery services. Research tools included skills assessment form, clinical data collection form, and qualitative interview form. Analyzed using descriptive statistics and before-and-after comparisons by paired t-test.
     Results found that personnel Age 31-40 years old (40.00%), more than 10 years of experience in the delivery room (80.00%), pregnant women at risk were Hct <33 vol% (14.14%), and mothers under 20 years old (13.13%). After the development of skills in caring for pregnant women, the score increased from 3.83 to 4.82. The paired t-test showed a statistically significant increase at the .05 level (t = 6.16). In conclusion, the development of skills and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and community care should be successful.
