DEVELOPMENT OF CLINICAL PRACTICE GUIDELINE FOR NURSING CARE OF SCHIZOPHRENIC PATIENTS WITH AUDITORY HALLUCINATION, NAPALAI HOSPITAL,SAMUTSONGKHRAM PROVINCE.

Abstract

     This action research was to develop a clinical nursing practice guideline for schizophrenic patients with auditory hallucination in Psychiatric clinic. Napalai Hospital based on the development of clinical practice guideline framework of the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC,1998). Data were collected from the quality of nursing practice guidelines implementation questionnaire. The quality of nursing practice guidelines implementation assessment for schizophrenia patients with auditory hallucinations was assessed by psychiatric nurses and professional nurses who work with schizophrenia patients, totaling 20 persons. Data were analyzed by content analysis and descriptive statistics.
     The results of the study found that 100% agreed that the guidelines were easy to use, clear, and suitable for the organization. is convenient to use Save manpower, time and budget and see that clinical practice guidelines for nursing schizophrenic patients with auditory hallucination are feasible in practice.Evaluation of clinical practice guidelines based on established indicators. There was no incidence of severely aggressive behavior towards oneself or others. All patients suffered from decreased auditory hallucination and did not come back for treatment within 28 days with severe auditory hallucination
