Nursing practice guidelines for prevention of recurrent hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes at Rongkham Hospital, Kalasin Province.

This study was quasi-experimental research aimed to study the recurrence of hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes and to study the nursing practice guidelines for preventing recurrence of hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes at Rongkham Hospital, Kalasin Province. The research period was between September and October 2024, a total of 2 months. The data were analyzed using content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Dependent t-test.
The results of the study found that the readiness to act of type 2 diabetic patients with hypoglycemia at Rongkham Hospital, Kalasin Province, before the operation, overall and in each aspect, was at a moderate level. After the operation, overall and in each aspect, it was at the highest level. The readiness to act of the relatives of type 2 diabetic patients with hypoglycemia at Rongkham Hospital, Kalasin Province, before the operation, overall and in each aspect, was at a moderate level. After the operation, overall and in each aspect, it was at the highest level. And the readiness of relatives and patients with type 2 diabetes with hypoglycemia at Rongkham Hospital, Kalasin Province before and after the operation found that there was a statistically significant difference at the .05 level. The readiness of relatives and patients with type 2 diabetes with hypoglycemia at Rongkham Hospital, Kalasin Province after the operation had a higher mean score than before the operation. As for the results of nursing practice guidelines for preventing recurrence of hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes at Rongkham Hospital, Kalasin Province, it was found that there were 23 patients with type 2 diabetes at Rongkham Hospital, Kalasin Province with hypoglycemia and there were no recurrence of hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes at Rongkham Hospital, Kalasin Province, accounting for 100 percent.
