Nursing Management of Hip Fracture Patients Undergoing Hip Replacement Surgery.

This study was a case study by collecting data from research, academic articles, and medical reports related to the care and treatment of patients with hip fractures, as well as nursing management guidelines. The scope of the study was divided into 3 phases: preoperative phase, postoperative phase, and ongoing care phase. Data were collected from medical records and analyzed descriptively.
Effective management and timely nursing care for this patient population can be categorized into three phases: (1) Preoperative phase focused on pain management, complication prevention, and preoperative preparation; (2) Postoperative phase involving prevention of postoperative complications, pain management, prevention of hip dislocation, and discharge planning; (3) Follow-up phase aimed at ensuring proper postoperative care, skill development for hip rehabilitation, and application of contemporary nursing practices to enhance patient outcomes.Implementing modern knowledge and nursing management strategies effectively can improve the care of patients with hip fractures undergoing hip replacement surgery.
