Effects of child and youth counseling to change behavior to stop using drugs Phang Khon Hospital Sakon Nakhon Province

The objectives of this quasi experiment research are 1. To study the results of counseling children. and youth according to behaviorist theory to change behavior to stop using drugs Phang Khon Hospital Sakon Nakhon Province and 2. Study and compare the results of counseling children. and youth to change their behavior and stop using drugs Phang Khon Hospital Sakon Nakhon Province between the experimental group and control group This is experimental research. 10 people, classified as an experimental group, received combined counseling according to behaviorist theory, totaling 5 people. and the control group received counseling according to the drug management counseling course manual, totaling 5 people. The tool used was the ASSIST-LITE drug use screening tool with Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and the Mann - Whitney U Test.
The results of the research found that after combined counseling according to behaviorist theory, The experimental group had a statistically significant increase in the level of behavior to stop using drugs at .05. Comparison of the level of behavior to stop using drugs between the experimental groups. and control group After counseling, it was found that the differences were statistically significant at .05
