Nursing care of patients with septic shock in emergency and forensic accidents: Two Case Studies.

This study aimed to study the nursing care of patients with sepsis. The study compared two patients who developed septic shock. Patient 1 was diagnosed with Pneumonia with sepsis with chronic kidney stage 2 with liver metastasis. Patient 2 was diagnosed with Abscess right bottom with sepsis with acute kidney injury with acidosis.
The results of the study found that both cases were treated according to the Sepsis guideline and the treatment in the first 6 hours achieved the goal. One factor that will achieve the outcome of the treatment of Sepsis patients in the first 6 hours is the competency of nurses in assessment, monitoring and surveillance. Therefore, nurses should be emphasized to realize the importance of nursing care that is consistent with targeted treatment in the first 6 hours because it will help delay the failure of important organs and help patients survive.
